Local buses to and from Nicoya run every two hours through Nosara. The
bus station in Nicoya is a major hub with scheduled routes throughout Guanacaste
as well as to San Jose.
A reminder that the last bus of the day from Nicoya to Nosara leaves Nicoya
about 3:00pm. If you intend to take the bus from San Jose, an early morning
departure from San Jose to Nicoya is strongly suggested. i.e. if you arrive
in Nicoya later than 3:00pm, you will need to hire a taxi to Nosara or spend
the night there.
