Cellular Telephones in Nosara
There is a new cellular antenna tower in Nosara,
across from the new Gas Station. Cell phone usage in Nosara is quickly outpacing
land lines! However, because the Nosara River Valley is surrounded by mountains,
there are still areas where service can be interrupted.
The first step is to buy a cellular telephone. You can take it to the ICE
office in Nicoya to have it programmed for our area. There are various types
of service contracts and account options available.
If you are a tourist or part-time resident, and will be in town only a short time, you can RENT a cell phone from the Nosara Office Center.
