Paying your Electricity Bill
You
may pay your current electricity bill at the downtown Nosara Pharmacy. The
bills are published and due at the beginning of each month. Service will
be disconnected after the 10th. Please remember to bring a copy of your previous
billing, with the meter number and account number, in order to facilitate
looking up your account.
A Note from the Pharmacy
"Regarding phone and electric bills: this service
is regulated by a contract made by the Coopmani and the ICE. This contract
establishes certain standards that the pharmacy must follow (such as checks
cannot be accepted if the amount is less than 25,000 colones). These standards
cannot be changed or altered for any reason. With that said, the hours for
paying electric bills is from 8:00am to 12:00 noon, and from 1:00pm to 5:30pm.
We would like to be more practical and flexible about this, however the system
does not permit us. "
For late payments or to restore disconnected service, you must go to the office of ICE in downtown Nosara. (see City Map). Once you have paid your overdue bill, service is typically restored within 24 hours.
