some time now, the pharmacy IDASA Nosara has been offering its services in
filling prescriptions, pharmaceutical advice, along with contributing to
the health and overall well being of the community.
Prescriptions
The national legislation states that pharmacists must save all original prescriptions
prescribed by doctors for at least two years, and may not (under any circumstance)
give this medicine without that prescription. In the case of patients associated
with INS (medical insurance) we recommend that you provide a copy of your
prescription in order to receive your reimbursement.

Paying your Utility Bills
A Note from the Pharmacy
"Regarding phone and electric bills: this service
is regulated by a contract made by the Coopmani and the ICE. This contract
establishes certain standards that the pharmacy must follow (such as checks
cannot be accepted if the amount is less than 25,000 colones). These standards
cannot be changed or altered for any reason. With that said, the hours for
paying electric bills is from 8:00am to 12:00 noon, and from 1:00pm to 5:30pm.
We would like to be more practical and flexible about this, however the system
does not permit us. "
