Soccer Futbol in NosaraThe people of Nosara turn out every Sunday at the focal point of town - the Futbol field. Sitting in the shade around the town square, sipping a lemonade, and cheering on the home team. 
Comité de Deportes de Nosara (Nosara Sports Committee)
The purpose of the comité is to improve the quality of the current field for the betterment of the players, spectators and the community in general. The field currently has lighting and a concession stand. Currently there are plans to enlarge the field, fence it, and plant more trees around the perimeter. Other organizations also use the soccer field for church socials, Red Cross donation drives, Independence Day parades, and more. Members of the Nosara Sports Commitee:
